

Youth Worker
Christiana Yiagkou has an academic background in Sociology (Bsc) and Communication studies. She has more than 4 years of experience in planning, management, implementation and evaluation of European project in various programmes. As a Youth Worker, she has great experience working with Young People supporting and guiding them through as well as in organizing and delivering seminars/workshops in non-formal learning contexts.

Project Researcher
Theodora Yiangou has many years of experience in the field of non-formal education. From 2018 until 2021 she has been drafting project proposals, coordinating project groups, and organising workshops on a volunteering basis. She currently works as a Project Researcher and General Manager for the non-profit organisation ConnectingDOTS. She has also worked as a Senior Communication Consultant and has extensive experience in leading teams, designing, and implementing communication strategies for corporations and organisations.

Teacher
Panayiotis is a licenced School/Educational Psychologist (MScs) and a Narrative Psychotherapist with more than 7 years of experience in private and public sector as freelancer. He conducts psychodiagnostic assessments that offer insights into a child’s or adolescent’s learning, social, behavioral and personality development, with the goal of tailoring mental health empowerment programs and providing support and counselling for parents and teachers. Since 2019, he has been applying the intervention program “Positive psychology at the movies” for children and adolescents.
ConnectingDOTS is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation established in Nicosia, Cyprus as a response to COVID-19 pandemic that has exacerbated social isolation and highlighted the need to rebuild health and mental resilience and address the digital and green transformation challenges that lie ahead. ConnectingDOTS acts as a social collaboration platform among citizens in Cyprus and across Europe, with the aim to bring real, lasting social change for the benefit of human welfare.
Our mission is to motivate and empower people to play a vital role in their own development and well-being as well as in that of their communities, especially in view of the digital and green transformation. We believe that social development is about improving the well-being of every individual in society and removing all the barriers so they can reach their full potential and navigate toward their dreams and aspirations with confidence and dignity.
